Stain on project a bed mattress protector leaked blood onto mattress. Followed claim procedures. Company won't process claim. Using delayed tactics. Claim agent keeps asking for proof of damage. Have no other proof other than what's been submitted. Very frustrated and pissed off. Communication has been going since Sept 27th.

Do Not Honor Warranty - Use Delay Tactics

The company is using delay tactics to not honor their 10 year warranty requests. I have been dealing with them since Sept. 2021, it is now Feb. 2022. They ignore emails and telephone calls. Extremely unresponsive. Once a month they would write an email back such as "Your warranty has been processed" with no further details, then they will write "We will issue you a cheque", and nothing happens. I know there are thousands of frustrated customers - has there been a class action lawsuit against this manufacturer?

Did not received my mattress protector

Dear Sir Madam, Order number:16-0812*-***33 I placed an order through your company on 12th January2022 and ebay was meant to deliver but when i noticed that there was a mistake on the email instead 56 Stroud Green Way CR0 7BB it went to SG80ED London. Therefore can you please look into it and resend my mattress protector.

Wrong post code

Warranty, issue with spill on my mattress

Just got a mattress, and they sold me on protect a bed to guarantee my mattress, and it didn't work I spilled cough syrup on my bed and it went right through it

Impossible

It isn't that their customer service is bad, its that they don't even exist. 5 times I attempted to contact regarding a faulty product and damaged bed. They are impossible to get a hold of and that's all there is to it.

Class action lawsuit

I am considering filing a class action lawsuit against the protect a bed company. I, just like many of you, have the same exact issue with their company. I was sold a mattress protector under false pretenses. I was told that if their mattress protector failed, which it did. my mattress would be replaced. This is what was explained to me by the salesman at mattress firm, when I purchase my mattress. I provided better care for my mattress protector than what was recommended. They are currently failing to not only provide choose customer service but are also not wanting to refund me my $3000 for my mattress. I will be filing a class action lawsuit and requesting that the rest of you sign up as well. If this is not resolved. It is not our Fult that they do not provide the appropriate training, to the stores that sell their product. I will not take on the financial responsibility for their mistake. And you shouldn't either. I'm currently working during the coronovirus pandemic And I have to come home to a damaged mattress... I'm not tolerating this.

Company does not stand behind product or warranty

My review is almost identical to those others of negative experiences. After 4 years of product use our toddler had an “accident” which led to our mattress getting ruined. I purchased this “liquid proof” mattress protector in conjunction with my Tempur-Pedic Purchase as recommended by my mattress firm salesman. After sending my failed product to Protect-A-Bed they said they would follow up with me to have the mattress cleaned or replaced (per the 10 year warranty). Since a Tempur-Pedic mattress cannot be cleaned: once liquid gets on it - it is essentially ruined, continues to break down, and voids the warranty with Tempur-Pedic (which is why we bought this expensive protector in the first place); we expected our mattress to get replaced. Mattress firm and Tempur-Pedic have both agreed with me on these facts and findings that Protec-a-bed should be held responsible. After several attempts to follow back up with protect-a-bed: they finally responded to me saying they sent me a letter (which they did not), essentially denying any further action on the claim because it was ruined by a dryer (speculation) and that I should have inspected the unit after each laundry cycle. I followed their laundry instructions and I am not a professional protector inspector. A reasonable person expects the product to hold up without misuse or abuse, and also expects a reputable company to stand behind their product/warranty. Protect-A-Bed is a sham and for these reasons I could not suggest to you more than to find a different product/company to protect your mattress.

Protect A Bed Protectors worthless & they don't honor warranty!!!

Purchased 2 Protect A Bed mattress protectors for our 2 young boys at Mattress Firm for $75/ea. was told by the sales guy they were guaranteed to work & if they didn't, Protect A Bed would have the mattresses cleaned & replace the protectors. BOTH protectors leaked the very 1st time the boys had an accident!! Called Mattress Firm, who told me to call Protect A Bed. The customer service rep was EXTREMELY rude! She basically implied that i was lying that both of them had leaked. By the end of the conversation, she told me they weren't going to do anything because I didn't purchase the protectors at the same time that I purchased the mattresses they were used on. I was never told this by Mattress Firm, of course. Wouldn't even refund my money, so I was left w/2 ruined mattresses & 2 worthless mattress protectors. Since then I've read countless reviews about how Protect A Bed makes every excuse not to honor their warranty. COMPLETE ripoff! A $10 protector from Wal-Mart would've worked better!!

They won't honor warranty because they said my protector looks like it melted in the dryer & it voids warranty! Anything to not cover the protector! Worst customer service in history!

We had the same problem! We paid $100 for the protector and it has leaked every single time so our $1,000 mattress is ruined.

Buyer beware!! Protect-a-bed is a fraud!

And Mattress Firm should not sell such a product, in my opinion they are just as guilty.
